X-Ray Diffraction (XRD) and X-Ray Fluorescence (XRF) testing are powerful analytical tools used to identify and characterize mineral scale deposits.

XRD (X-Ray Diffraction) determines the crystalline mineral composition of a scale sample, allowing identification of deposits such as calcium carbonate, barium sulfate, calcium sulfate, iron sulfide, and other mineral scales.

XRF (X-Ray Fluorescence) analyzes the elemental composition of the sample, identifying the concentrations of elements such as calcium, barium, sulfur, iron, and strontium.
